Trans Clippers Project: Kentucky

6000 4000 Imagine Water Works

Transgender, nonbinary, and two spirit people deserve to live and thrive before, during, and after times of disaster.

In response to COVID-19 and the needs we’ve seen in our local mutual aid group, we created the Trans Clippers Project to help keep our community more safe.

Meet the Organizers:

The #TransClippersProject is created by Imagine Water Works but organized at the local level by autonomous individuals and groups across the globe. The Kentucky team is led by Ashe Helm-Hernández and Tiger’s Eye Collective: Queer Security Cultural & Educational Project .

Tiger’s Eye Collective is a Queer Security Cultural and Educational project that seeks to engage our community in creating physical and community sanctuary. We were founded in direct response to the escalated, gender based violence of physical and political attacks against Black Trans/Gender Non-Conforming (GNC), Lesbian, Bi, Gay and Queer people in our community.
